Canadian Equal Education Support Organization
Canadian Equal Education Support Organization “CEESO” is a women-led, non-profit organization. CEESO is mandated to work towards advancing education and skills within and outside Canada with a higher focus on girls and women’s education within war-torn and developing as well as underdeveloped countries. Working towards education is one of the highest values internationally and as a Canadian organization, it is one of the crucial areas where CEESO will put more efforts towards facilitating educational means for girls and women. As an education support organization, CEESO has made it one of its core goals to promote, defend and advocate for the rights of girls and women all over the world for education and employment so that they can become self-sufficient, and contribute to the economy and the social life of their societies in their respective countries.
What are our purposes:
CEESO is a not-for-profit organization, and it will not perform any profit-making activities. Its source of revenue will come from fundings and charities. The CEESO’s revenue will not be used for any profit-making purposes. It will be solely used for implementing educational and charitable projects and will provide donations to other charities based on the availability of funds and donations received from other funding agencies.
In addition to supporting education, as a community-based organization, CEESO will help newcomer families through providing support services including settlement services where such services would aid newcomers and newcomers’ family towards assimilating within the Canadian educational system so that they can continue their education.
With the influx of immigrants from Afghanistan, it is one of our goals to provide educational related support services to the Afghan girls and women who did not have the chance to advance their studies in Afghanistan for obvious or unknown reasons.
As one of the main purposes, CEESO would like to cooperate and work jointly with other non-profit organizations with the focus on girls’ education worldwide, including war-torn countries or regions prone to various vulnerabilities, and require more attention and assistance from the international community, expertise and experiences.
Furthermore, CEESO provides community-related services and support, including conducting training sessions and short-term training programs that would help equip newcomer communities with the knowledge and means to enhance their skills.
